Raj Ayyagari, M.D.
Dr. Raj Ayyagari’s Bio
Dr. Ayyagari is an Associate Professor of Radiology at Boston University School of Medicine and a staff Interventional Radiologist at Boston Medical Center. Before returning to Boston in 2022, he had served as an Associate Professor of Radiology and Urology at Yale, where he treated patients for 11 years. His comprehensive medical training includes a Vascular and Interventional Radiology fellowship at Brigham and Women’s Hospital/Harvard Medical School, as well as residency training in Diagnostic Radiology.
Dr. Ayyagari’s journey began with a Bachelor of Arts in Behavioral Biology from Swarthmore College in 1996, followed by two and a half years in the Peace Corps, where he worked in Ecuador’s Andes mountains and Amazon rainforests. He went on to earn his M.D. from Yale School of Medicine in 2004.
